starting from next practice when band begins, seniors please guide the sec ones in their playing to the best of your capabilities.

Sec ones: The volume which you guys are playing at is right, sometimes a little too loud, but that's alright. Make use of the break and keep practising your clarinets to improve on your tones, yeah? If you're unsure of any notes, feel free to ask the seniors. I'm sure they'll be willing to help you. (:

Sec twos: Your tones are coming up. Keep up the good work, and practice the performance pieces, especially the runninnnnngggggg notes! Oh yeah, one more point. You guys must must MUST dare to blow out. Your tones are coming alone fine, but you've got to learn to play louder, but not to extent of blasting. Come on, you guys can do it. (:

Sec threes: Improve on your tones, practise the runninnnnngggggg notes. And guide the juniors properly if they have any doubts. Interact with the juniors, especially the sec ones (but NOT during practice). Set an example for the juniors. (:

Oh, and try not to talk too much during band practice, it really limits the amount of time we have for practice. Let's calculate. In a year, there are 52 weeks, 156 practices. If we talk for say, 1 minute, the total amount of time we waste would be 156 minutes! Instead, this 156 minutes can be spent on practices instead.

Those who still want tickets to SP Symphonic Band 'I Believe in Music' concert, ShiTian & I will be going to fuhua this Sat. So please prepare $6 if you want to purchase the ticket.
The concert is held on 27 July 2008 (sunday), 5PM at SP convention centre, prolly will last for 2 hours including 15mins intermission. Thanks for the support~
